Cause And Effect Of The Hippie Movement The hippies created their own counterculture which was all about love, peace, drugs and music. They are the "anti-establishment", they were outraged by the Vietnam War and protested for peace and love. Because of the hippies and their passion for love and peace (and drugs), laws have been made to ban "illicit drugs" and end discrimination against all races, ethnicities and lifestyles, and they (hippies and all races, ethnicities and lifestyles) are now accepted.
Impacts Of The Hippie Movement Social- there was peace in the citizens everyday community. Economic- all races, ethnicities and religions are able to be accepted. Global- there hasn't been a huge war sense, now has there?
Gained & Lost Gained- The Hippies gained the peace and respect for them selfs and all races, ethnicities, ect. Lost- The hippies lost there drug privilages, and some people lost there privilage to discriminate.
